I complimented him on his performance style and told him it really helped illuminate his album (after dorkily telling him that Matador put his album on YT, and he kinda nodded in a half frown).

When I handed him the pen to sign the Antics and OLTA thing, the pen wasn’t twisted to write and he looked at me with a WTF face. I grabbed it twisted it so he could then write.

I’m such a dork.

I thanked him for the twitter stuff. I also told him I was going to keep tweeting him OLTA questions because it’s my secret favorite and they need to perform Mind Over Time live at least once. He nodded approvingly as if to say “good to know”

He now knows my twitter handle and remembered the tweet about the NARC remix that blew my mind. He asked my name, and then repeated it out loud. He then extended to shake my hand (after putting his cigarette in his other hand) and said it was a pleasure to meet me. And he sounded sincere (I’m a theatre person I can read people pretty well).
